More Parties!

I have been watching the UK election returns and I must say I find it very interesting. The Colonies have two major parties and occasional a third party might pop up but they usually disappear after an election or two and if not, they never amount to much. I find it fascinating that there appear to be so many more parties in the UK, Northern Ireland appears to have a plethora. Is there such a thing as party envy? I think there might be - so under the theory that the more parties, the merrier, I have come up with a few ideas for some new ones on this side of the pond.

How about:
The Mad Hatter PC Tea Party
The Raving Lunatic Moon Watching Party
The Silly Walking Twit Party
The Mothers Against Naked Wheat Field Running Party
The Happy Hour Warm Gun Temperance Party
The Repeal Everything and Grab Them Party
The Free Beer on Fridays Party
MAAGJA Party

:hide: Sorry... it's late. :guinn:
Oh, that last one? Make America A Great Joke Again Party.

E's off 'is blooming rocker.

Zero calories per pint??
How are you supposed to grow a beer belly on that?
What was good about the video? Did you fancy the barmaid in the background?

I must really be getting old because I had to watch that video twice before I spotted the barmaid. Beer looks good but no calories? I have my doubts as to taste. Might go well with Fish & Chips but needs more alcohol and some calories.

I enjoy my porter with a BJ's 'Classic Burger' and fries. It's definitely a nice beer to drink with food. :) I'm not sure how it would stand up drinking it all by itself. Actually BJ's recommends that you drink a 'Jeremiah Red' https://www.bjsrestaurants.com/beer/jeremiah-red with their 'Classic Burger'. :dunno: Never tried it. Go figure.

Thanks for that link, Nigel #1. I have to wonder if my "The Raving Lunatic Moon Watching Party" is an overseas branch of "The Monster Raving Loony Party". Certainly must liven up the elections and would love to see any of them in a debate.

Brian, I enjoy a pint or two of O'Brions red ale once a month at our class reunion dinners. Goes well with their burgers or their meatloaf specials. Beats the American piss water some of my classmates drink. If your ever in Fairfax, Va, let me know and I'll buy you a pint. Oh, I didn't spot any barmaids, cute or otherwise in the 'Jeremiah Red' video. I may need stronger glasses.
