What I was trying to say was that I hope my snowy screenshots provided cooling effect to you while you were having very bad hot weather.

No - heat index is a combination "a quantity expressing the discomfort felt as a result of the combined effects of the temperature and humidity of the air."

A heat inex of 108F feels like 42.2222 Celsius!

Ah, thanks for that Nigel. I asked because the other day I was driving behind a truck that had a notice on the back - 'This vehicle is fitted with image recording equipment' - and wondered why they didn't just say 'cameras'. Same sort of thing, you see. ;)
