Close enough Brian, we don't have sea lions unfortunately, just a lowly old seal lol, the water temp remains at freezing point all year up here, but yes it's just beautiful to see the bergs, I could sit there all day but they do have an annoying habit of rolling over and you don't want to be within half a mile when they do!!.
I'll be out next week as I'm told the humpback whales have arrived in force, see what I can get to post

A couple more for you, I love the way the bergs can produce their own fog bank.

True Joe but you have to admit we've come along in leaps and bounds over the years.
when I'm out on the ocean where I love to be, you see these things and think: Now that's "awesome", a word that the youngsters use every sentence these days totally out of context, I've been close to a berg when it cracked!!, and I can tell you I almost needed a change of underwear, you cannot believe the sound they make, unreal.

Robbie,
Wonderful pics!
Natural beauty almost leaves us speechless.
EDIT:
PS Now I know what that 100% "avatar" was....it's photobucket blocking users from sharing pictures with 3rd parties, so as discussed in Aharon's thread, ...."It's goodnight from me, and it's goodnight from him!"

Wonderful pictures Robbie - can we have some more please? They are the perfect antidote to this sticky clammy heat we're suffering here.

Hopefully the Wx holds out for you next week to get some pics of the Humpbacks. Great pics today Robbie. All this talk of bergs overturning and cracking reminded me of this video some time back of a Glacier calving. The scale of it is truly incredible. Watch if full screen if you haven't seen it before.
