Re: Sad News
Oh my, what to say. As another ex crab, I'll miss bantering with the old fishead...and our frequent pm's on more serious matters.. like where to find spares for 'EP. If it hasnt been said, a huge loss to this board.

Re: Sad News
I'm shocked to hear this news, Toby Vickers just told me. Although I haven't visited the site much recently I am still sorry to hear about this. My condolences to Dave's family. - Paul

Re: Sad News
Only just logged in to the forum and found this dreadful news I am devastated by it
Dave helped me along the way with flight simming and the va, and although I we only met once I considered him as a good friend.
RIP buddy and condolences to the family

Re: Sad News
Was very shocked and saddened to be informed of Dave's passing this evening.
Although I only met him a couple of times in person, he was a very knowledgeable, helpful and good natured person and his levelheadedness and reason came across in his moderation of the forum. He's helped me many times with matters computer related, flightsim related and I'm sure as with several others who we have known on here who have passed on, he will be greatly missed.
My condolences to his family.

What sad and shocking news. My condolences to his family.
His wide ranging knowledge and willingness to help will be sorely missed together with his sense of humour.

Re: Sad News
How truly awful for Dave's wife and daughter. They have lost a wonderful man far too soon.
We will all miss his friendly and helpful banter around the forum.
Heartfelt condolences to his family.

Re: Sad News
Terrible, terrible news indeed. No hint of any illness in his posts.
Sincere condolences to Dave's family and friends.
We have all lost a dear friend.
RIP Dave. Though we never met, you were a true friend and gentleman.

Re: Sad News
Very sad news, Dave was always helpful and a welcome presence on the board. You always knew when you read one of his posts you'd learn something. Thoughts with his family at this time.
His "charlie time" came far too soon, but pretty certain that St. Peter had him "on the roger" at the Pearly Gates.

Absolutely, he was the beating heart of the VA.
