I had not heard John Hutchinson's analysis of the Concorde crash before, but he makes a compelling case for his views, particularly that relating to the already aft of limits CG moving further rearwards as fuel was lost in the rupture, and the failure ever to achieve V2 of 220 knots . This fits with one of the most chilling aspects of the CVR, where repeatedly the First officer ( who was actually much more experienced on Concorde than was the Captain ) can be heard warning the Captain , who was pilot flying, about speed - or lack thereof . Sad beyond words
