Nasty Weather At BWBG Narsarsuaq Airport

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Presenting in middle of battling powerful snowstorm and nasty strong winds approach to and landing on BGBW Narsarsuaq Airport located Narsarsuaq in southern Greenland

Battling winds while trying to land

Snow blowing on runway behind the plane

Trying to balance the plane while battling against strong winds

Seconds before touchdown

Image

TOUCHDOWN blowing lots of snow behind

Reverse thrusters are starting to deploy TOO SLOW probably due to freezing weather

Backtracking on runway to taxi back toward gate

Image

Arrived at gate while leaving flaps deployed because in freezing Greenland weather, there is chance you might not be able to deploy frozen flaps!!

Aharon, I've enjoyed many of your atmospheric screenshots and they're always nicely done. Can I suggest that you mention the specific aircraft/scenery that you are using as others might want to re-create you flights? :thumbsup:

Thank you for your kind words and my apologies for not enclosing information on aircraft and scenery. I will do that next time.

Meanwhile, this screenshot report is using freeware POSKY 757-200RR and the BWBG scenery is FSX default.
