Fenland, Fenland, Fenland...

...Fenland has it all. ;) Found this charming scenery over at Flightsim.com. It's the airfield at Fenland, Lincolnshire. :) Sorry about the rain. A snip from the readme.

"The taxiways and parking spots in this scenery are present but not visible so watch the included AI traffic for clues as they go about their duties.

As I have ORBX Global textures installed on my PC I have no idea what this scenery will look like with default FSX textures or how it reacts to other scenery addons but it should at least be an improvement over the FSX default ugly green rectangles. Wether it works with FSX SP1, Accelleration or P3D I have no idea, just try it you can't possibly break anything by installing this."

Thanks for the HU, Brian.
Anyone understand why the taxiways & parks would be invisible?
After inserting all the other detail, I would have thought it manageable. :dunno:

I would assume it's intentional.
Nice looking scenery.

Just downloaded to have a look.
The pics Brian posted in his first post seem to be Uk2000, and not this new one. The download only references stock objects and the included screenshot looks nothing like those posted above.

I'm sorry fellas. I completely screwed up and took screenies of the wrong Fenland airport. Please disregard.

Here I go riding that learning curve again! :$
If the author had mentioned in the notes that the taxyways were unsealed grass, rather than "invisible", I would have understood. :agree:

Have now looked at the satellite photo of the airfield, and DaveG was spot on. The only sealed areas run from the road to some of the buildings.
