Re: JF Dunkirk spitfire is out!
Thanks, Joe.
Has anyone compared this to the BOB trio (Hurri, Spit, 109) issued c2010?

I am interested in that comparison also, I have the BOB and mk5 and like them.

Re: JF Dunkirk spitfire is out!
Yes and no. I have the Hurri as well as the Spits by RealAir, A2A (both WoP2 and WoP3), and Plane Design (port-over) for FSX.
Naturally, there's a difference in the number and type of models and animations. No chocks and unable to remove pilot after parking, for example.
IMHO the flight dynamics, VC, interior and exterior textures and sounds are excellent. The Dunkirk Spit is very stable so there's no problem using the wobbly for raising or lowering the landing gear. AH/JF did provide for hidden ADF/VOR gauges for those who use them. There is some discussion at SOH regarding the accuracy on a few (very few) modeling details, which AH/JF has indicated will address with a future patch/update.
And the price is right. I like it.

After much deliberation I decided to buy this. I have to admit I'm having real problems. The model won't display correctly, it's all but invisible on the outside except for the rudder and wing root fairings. There is no VC and all you can see is the prop. Not sure what's going there

May I suggest a delete and reinstall?Swanoir wrote: ↑24 Feb 2018, 20:43After much deliberation I decided to buy this. I have to admit I'm having real problems. Re: JF Dunkirk spitfire is out!
The A2A model fills all my Mk.I and II Spitfire needs.
Re: JF Dunkirk spitfire is out!
Thanks for the suggestions lads. I tried an uninstall/reinstall but the problem persists. Never had this before on this PC, it's handled all manner of aircraft and scenery without a hint of bother. I haven't done anything differently to all the countless other JF downloads I've installed over the past couple of years. I haven't changed any settings or anything else different on the system. More frustrated with myself for not being able to solve it!

Swanoir, You haven't mentioned which sim you have.
I just noted that AH has posted on Facebook that there is an updated version to resolve an issue with CTD in P3D4. Might want to re-download from your JF account and give that a try.
