''British Airways: 100 Years In The Sky' Part 1 of 2. A bit of poetic license with the name BA being 100 years old but might be interesting. Just hope there are no petty human 'dramas' blown up into potential 'disasters' EricT :)
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!

The name British Airways goes back to 1935.

Instone Air Line was founded in 1919 and was merged into Imperial Airways when it was founded(1924), which was then merged into BOAC (along with British Airways Ltd (founded 1935)) in 1939/1940 when it was founded. And of course BOAC and BEA merged in 1974 to make the current British Airways. So I think its from Instone they can claim 100 years.

Watched the programme and in certain ways it was a bit sloppy on their presentation. The Rapide was not a Rapide. The Hijacking was also inaccurate in some of the facts.
