Gloster Gladiator

Now that summer is well & truly passed, I've been working on my next project - one I've wanted to build for some time.
Yes, It's a Gloster Gladiator MK1 for FS9/FSX. The aircraft is painted in the colours of a Gladiator of No3 squadron Kenley in 1937. This image shows the exterior nearing completion: now to model the cockpit & panel - not an easy task because I have to fit the complete model within 64000 pixels. Sounds a lot but they soon get chomped up.
Cheers

ps - note the undercarriage shock absorbers -
all built into the wheel hubs courtesy of Doughty.

Now that looks really good Dave.
Too bad it won't be P3d v4 compatible.

Looks great so far, but as Dave G said, too bad it won't be P3D4 compatible.
You really should make it FSX native so the users of newer sims can use it, I think at this point there are more people using P3D4 than FS9.

Thanks for the replies folks.
Joe - essentially I build these aircraft for myself and then share them - there are still enough using FS9 to make the projects worthwhile.
I couldn't really build for P3Dv4 as I don't have it.
However 'never say never' .

Spell checker error? I think its spelt DOWTY!
Anyway its looking very nice. BTW do you keep your Gmax model in in mesh or do you convert to editable poly? I found accidentally that if you leave it in mesh then the poly count can be double! I've always converted to poly, so maybe I'm mistaken?
Nit picker Keith.
