Thanks for that link.
I know that a workstation is part of a local network, but don't really know why that video card wouldn't boost a desktop. :stupid:
I d/ld the test facility, and finished up with a mass of information and grading of my system. :) :-O
For any folks who know how to read this stuff, I would highly recommend it to you.
As usual with hardware matters, I was more confused than enlightened.
I can gather, I need to check that I have a SATA 3.0 cable attached to a Sata 3.0 port. I'm fairly certain that the port is right, so maybe I have a slow cable. :dunno:

This is the sort of thing I don't understand:
"performing above expectations" but also "very poor"
