Very nice indeed, I wonder if it will get the full PBR treatment?

Must be missing something as far as PBR is concerned.blanston12 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2019, 05:53Very nice indeed, I wonder if it will get the full PBR treatment?
What I have seen so far does not impress me.
Not sure "Blender" is able to handle it anyway, might be wrong.
Can anyone explain the advantages?

Supposedly more realistic lighting/reflections. It's one of those things that can be quite subtle and doesn't really come across in static screenshots. It's more noticeable with bare metal finishes.
I don't think Blender can export PBR to P3d yet (I don't use it, so only going by what I've read elsewhere), but the materials can be converted to PBR using MCX.

Thanks for that Dave.
Been playing with MCX of late, converted my old FSDS Mk3 Meteor to a format Blender could use, hence the Mk1 /prototype.
Presumably it needs running back through MCX to take advantage of PBR.
I’ll try that out, must learn the process.
