Happy Birthday Vancouver who reaches 64 today
and in memory of our dear friend, Mr. CBFS who would have been 62 today
(Hope you all don't mind my copying Dave's picture from the main site)

Thanks. My bones are sore after a day gardening.
I (and I'm sure we all) miss Dave's contributions very much.

Have a good one Alex.
I still miss Dave and his banter.
At this time of year there was a regular back and forth over the fact that I was an old fart on March 31st only for Dave to catch up again three days later! We were born three days apart at opposite ends of the same county in England (me in the north and Dave in the south) and shared a love of aircraft and motorcycles.

Still feel so sad that Dave is no longer with us and as Larry wrote, miss his banter!
Regards

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said, except to add my voice to the chorus to folks who miss Dave dearly. Funny how to you can miss someone whom you never met in 'real life'. Such is impact DB had on the community. I hope Dave's family is coping as well as can be expected.
Dave - someday we'll eventually all be up there to join you and chat about classic British 'stuff' (well...most of us...the grand jury still hasn't delivered a verdict regarding yours truly

). Please save a seat at your table for us all. God bless....
