I think it SHOULD be done to our politicians. We could start with the televised Conservative Party leadership debate, a different animal for each contender.

Not animals, that would only serve to be a insult those creatures.
How about court jesters as more of a liking to politicians.

Slime moulds would be more appropriate but even then we are insulting other creatures
