Well b*gg*r me lad! I lived in and loved Leeds and had no idea they used to have trams. Thanks Graham that's an education. BTW your image name seems to be wrong. Apparently it's Cross Flatts with two t's. That's OK, you must have left one out from respect for the passing of t'Tetley's brewery :( ...

Hi Paul,

Another Loiner eh?

If you do the puzzle you will see it is "Flatts" - probably not clear from the reduced size picture.

I was born on Hawksood Estate - moved to Ireland Wood when it was built - then lived in Meanwood when I married. Then work took over and I lived whrever I worked.

Cheers,

Graham

Talking of trams, and I hope Graham does not mind me hijacking this thread a bit but there is a lovely tram museum (Crich Tramway Village) and feel that the jigsaw pictured by Graham is possibly one of the trams from that museum.

Would love to go there sometime.

Hi Nigel,

I am on with another jigsaw and the tram above appears in the new one as well - same number "399" and it is at the tramway museum.

Cheers,

Graham

Thought it might have been Graham, interestingly and this must be down to my memory. When I was about 10 or 12 years old my father used to take us up to Derbyshire for picnics around the Buxton area and I now recall us visiting this place as it was being established, no trams were running as the lines had only been partly laid but only have a fleeting memory of this.

Nigel.
