Cannot print FSX flightplans

After a recent Windows 10 update I have found that I cannot print my flightplans directly from the nav. log. I have checked whether my HP 5524 printer is working correctly and the HP help programs assure me that my printer drivers are up to date and that the device is working as it should.
I can print from my W10 'documents' it is just that I can no longer print out my FSX flightplans.
Has any one else experienced this problem and do any of our tech wizards have the answer?
