Here's a happy tale for a change.

I have Just Flight's Dove package, which I thought I had bought from JF years ago but couldn't find it in my list of stuff bought on their site. JF have updated the Dove for P3D V5 so I was keen to download the new version. Got in touch with JF support to report the missing Dove. Anyway long story short it turns out I had bought it from the now defunct FS Pilotshop so was resigned to missing the update.

JF have put the Dove into my bought items list with the necessary serial number etc so I now have the updated version without having to buy it again. How's that for customer service.

And as a result, you'll shop with them again.

So many companies are so short sighted these days and will quite happily see you shop elsewhere just so they don't have to lose a few quid.
Ultimately it costs them far more.

Too true. Although it's unlikely I'll be getting any new stuff for P3D. I've even managed to not buy P3D v5 True Earth GB Central and North despite these being on sale.
