I couldn't recall any specific adventures of DD to tell Mrs A., but I certainly read plenty of him 60+ years back.
Never knew he had been bronzed though.

Two things to report, Sir!
Firstly, I found a couple of comic extracts on the net. I am now embarrassed that I EVER wasted my time reading any of it, at ANY age.
Secondly, Joe, somebody has to keep those darned cows under control, stomping about, chomping grass with those murderous great teeth.

I've been clobbered by many utters, Joe,
"You're not wearing full school uniform". Whack!
"You went to the playing fields on a Sunday" (while dad was at the pub) Whack!
I won't bore you with the others from my formative years.
I guess that's where the hair across my arse in the statues topic came from; you follow the rules, or face the consequences.

Mad O'Rouke's Pie Factory in Tipton does a bostin Cow Pie. They also brew their own beer 'Lump hammer Ale', which is delicious. Also, it's only a short distance from the Black Country Living Museum which is an excellent day out.
