Re: Bitzer project
I received one entry from you Simon. It should show up in your "Sent" box. You'll also have my reply by now.
I've actually spent some daytime on the computer today, and read a few messages soon after they were posted.
It won't be in your "Outbox" once I've read it.

Cheers got your reply

Oh yes?
Well that's an extra 5 points for the courtesy of calling me "Mr", and 5 points off for being too formal, Paul. Make up the rules as you go.....

Re: Bitzer project
14 entries, 8 of them correct. Way beyond my expectations.
OK lads & lassies, seems like time to close this one; I'll leave it till the traditional early afternoon AEDST. That's about 15 hours away. Tick-tick-tick....

Re: Bitzer project
26-02 Results:
First, the un-blobbed photo:
Which was the Argentinian I.Ae 30 NANCU (with twiddly bits over some of the letters)
Diamond awards to PeteP, Keith (Dev One), Mick (woody901), Ben (TSR2), Pete (MilesMan), AllanL, PaulK, who all got it right first time.
Gold for Simon, who took a second bite at the cherry, to taste victory.
Many thanks to all who participated, including those who were tricked by the Welkin and Hornet. This was unsurprising, as it is described as such on the web. It was also obscure, as it only made it to test phase before crashing, after which they didn't bother repairing it, and they abandonned the other two incomplete examples in the factory.
Now you're all champing at the bit for the next one, to be known as
01-03This also came from the "new" recognition book, btw
As usual, PM replies only please.
Sorry about the 'plane spotters who got in the way.

Re: Bitzer project
Thanks for running all this, Mike. It's very entertaining. The latest puzzler looks a bit more familiar to me.
Re: Bitzer project
Brigitte might be older than the aircraft, she's 86. I don't actually know what the aircraft is. Still searching.

Re: Bitzer project
It's a pleasure, Paul, I'm glad that it is helping some to cope with lockdown.
Yes Den,
Mrs Airspeed mentioned that despite her age, men still seem to find her attractive. I don't know what she means.
