Re: Bitzer project
Sigh!
Gone are the days when Pete batted on, till he got a cardboard badge.
They don't make 'em like they used to!
Joe (blanston12) gets a gold badge for his correct identification:
Congratulations, Joe...
Requests for extra pics always welcome, but are we all done, Gentlemen?
Final 24 hours starts now....
Re: Bitzer project
I see a fairly small high winged monoplane. Six cylinders, contra rotating props, high performance. Thinking maybe air racer or aerobatics?
Maybe the exhausts are false?

I think I've found it but I still don't know what is. I have an image but sadly no name yet. I will say that the images here might lead you down the wrong path.

I have a manufacturer and name. I just hope it's the right one.

Re: Bitzer project
Den,
I think that the perspective has thrown you off a bit. The props are contra-rotating, but there are two pairs of them!
AFAIK, the exhausts are not false. Give me a few minutes, I'll come back with further comment.
The six stubs are correct, belonging to Merlin 140 V12s.
Meanwhile, chrispbits has been working like crazy, and came up a gold winner!
Congratulations, Chris...
