I may be wrong, but I think the aircraft that didn't have the airline emblem on and only had the flag where used for government.

Is it not just that when country flags are used the post end of the flag is always at the front? So seemingly reversed on the Stbd side?
Drawings usually depict the Port side of the aircraft & have a note 'Port (or Left Hand) drawn, Stbd opposite'.

Also true, Ben; Air Force in this case.

Just to summarise; my image was from a Turkish Air Force Viscount. We have established that the flag is reversed on the starboard fin, so my image was valid. Unfortunately, the artist applied the stbd flag to the port fin surface in my book. This was not evident in the extract which I included.
I would have stuck to my guns, but I clouded the water having seen the apparent history of THY's logo evolution; this was disproved by Pete's linked images. "c" was therefore dropped from the quiz, so I'm only asking for a,b,d,e,f.

I thought that more people would have been in this, but thought doesn't translate to actuality.
It's a pity, as I'd set up some really curly ones for the future. Not worth posting now.

There's hardly any difference between the answers, but as the seating arrangement did appear in one shot, I think that was enough to differentiate between the variants.
We have an esteemed birthday today, so I'll leave it another 24 hours before posting the whole image, in case there are other latecomers.

The military seating, and possibly military door shapes, define it as a C-47, but I happily accepted DC3 for gold.

How did I miss this one I've checked in every day but somehow this passed me by.

If I had seen it, I might have thought it too simple and suspected a Lisunov Li-2 (Cab).
