There were so many good aircraft for FS2004. One of my favourites was a civilian Tu-16 Badger ( not the Alphasim one ) which was used as a high speed mail plane from the USSR's far east to Moscow. How I'd love to see that updated.

Ditto, Paul! I recall that model well. It was one of my first forays into the virtual Russian aviation world many years ago (assuming this is the one you're referring to?):

In terms of appearance, it still holds up relatively well for a nearly 20yr old model. I've long yearned for a decent Tu-16 or Tu-104 with full VC and well-simulated systems. In the last year I've migrated to XP11, which has a good selection of extremely well simulated Eastern Bloc equipment...the Felis Tu-154 being absolutely sublime, among a few others. No Badgers or -104s yet, though....

Hi Mark, nothing is coming up in that link - it goes to Flightsim okay, but says 'No Search Results' *-) I remember it had CCCP on the rear fuselage, and you could see where the military red star insignia had once been - very convincing.

Sorry about that, Paul. Don’t know why I can’t get my direct link to the file to work…but it’s filename on Flightsim.com is: tu16v1.zip

Although it’s listed as an FS2002 model, I recall using it in FS9 with no problems as well.
