Same here Kevin. It’s annoying when a listing doesn’t indicate a repeat. However the Guy Martin prog tonight is definitely a new one. :) EricT

I thought it was too good to be true.
They let me sign up for Ch4.
Then I tried to sign in to watch, and they told me I wasn't allowed.
Now have confirmation that they've accepted my cancellation and deleted my personal details.

Now if that was the BBC I could understand it but for ITV (when it is basically free to watch) I would have thought they would allow you access!! :dunno:

Found something that you might like instead Mike, Guy Martin flying the Link Trainer which was used during the 2nd World War. My father was a Link Trainer Instructor during the war and I believe he was at RAF Finningley which was then a flying training station. During his time there he was invited by pilot to come up in a Hampton Bomber for a flight and during the flight the pilot suggested to my father to go into the bomb bay as he would appreciate the views more. As soon as he was settled into position by lying down the pilot then went into low level mode................ hedge height!! :help: My father often thought that this was probably payback time after making him do another stint in the trainer as on the first link trainer flight he was not up to the required standard!!

That was a fascinating clip, and he did pretty well for a tyro. I would have loved to see an altitude trace, though, because when he said he was at 8000 feet he appeared actually to be 2000 feet underground. It's strange how those 3 pointer altimeters have been responsible for so many crashes, including IIRC the Caravelle which crashed just about where he was flying

As well as that there was also the problem of the ASI whereby if it was a 2 needle affair such as in the Victor whereby it could, in an emergency situation, be mistaken for the altimeter.

Nice one, Nigel, thank you!
We had one at 14F Squadron, but they never let us low-lifes have a go, it was only a few favoured ones.
Nice to see Northolt on his trace map. That was walking distance from home, and where 14F ATC was based.
