I disagree, to say it was built implies it was finished, which it never was, still very much incomplete.

A mere handful of correct entries this time, but those who knew, let me know very promptly :agree:
PeteP, Joe (blanston12), Keith (Dev One), Mick (woody901) and PaulK all identified the Supermarine B317, to meet specification 12/36.
There was another variant, B316, with a Stirling-like fin. Some drawings show it bristling with turrets, others very clean.
