It was flying from Spanhoe until 2018, then in December last year its owners ( Leicester Council ) proposed it go to Newark Air Museum for posterity, as " it no longer has a C of A" ... not that it actually needs a C of A for display flying, a Permit to fly ... there is / was an online petition to keep it at Spanhoe

Thanks for that, Pete. Just had a look at Newark's website, and found this:

Responses have ceased, so I suppose it's time to post the results, and crack open a fresh one tomorrow. 24 hours, or a bit less.

18-11 Results
A good turnout for this one.
Eric (Tomliner) took line honours, Kevin Farnell, PeteP, Brian (spot), Mick (woody901), PaulK, Keith (Dev One), Den (511Flyer), AllanL, and Brian Franklin all agreed, and scored a badge:

Pete (Motormouse) suspected me of awful sneakiness and made an interesting suggestion, which introduced me to another aircraft which I had never heard of. I won't name it, but as Pete has led the way, I'll give him the inaugural Pathfinder award, and will use his nomination for the new challenge :agree:

So not even a one off prototype, but a artist impression of a possible version of an aircraft that was either never built or built completely differently.

In which case I shall exempt myself from this one, but I will say, it was built.
