Arizona to Heathrow in a Dc 6
Thought I would post a few shots of the ferry flight of G-APOM , from Kingman Arizona to London Heathrow
I was going to fly Kingman to Colorado Springs then on to Chicago, but Joe has created some ferry routes
First leg is Kingman to Phoenix
Early Start at Kingman
Climbing to 11000ft Only an Hr flight View out of the window On the ground at Phoenix

Leg 2 : Phoenix to O'Hare Quite a direct IFR route of 1300nm Thought I had been a bit light with the fuel planning, but landed with 800 kgs on board
Climbing out of Phoenix. Bit murky outside. Cleared up by the time we get to Albuquerque. Route 66 is below us and the Rio Grande to the left. Cockpit view. Approaching Chicago.

Hi Simon
As there are no training routes out of Kingman, I gave myself full rating to make the flights available. Once in London, I will revert my rating to Tr and complete the obligatory 4 flights. Happy to do the same for you, if you wish.
