We have had a ceiling fan in the conservatory for many years and Babs has decided that for next year she wants to change it as it is getting old. So I decided to have a look on the internet for a fan that is a bit different.

She took one look at me and said. In your dreams!!

Gutted, really gutted!! :((

Oh well, worth a try!!

I wonder if she'd like it if you added some flashing LED lights to it? :dunno: ;)

"Saigon,..... I'm still only in Saigon."

You just need to add an open flame heating system - and Jim Morrison.

Wooo :worried: that puts a different spin on it, Allan.
Never seen that film, but that opening was foreboding. :worried:

If you ever do, try to see the original 1979 version. Prior to release, director Francis Ford Coppola edited out a load of things which were extraneous to the central story, an adaptation of Joseph Conrad's 'Heart of Darkness'. In the two later versions, Apocalypse Now Redux and Apocalypse Now Final Cut, some of those missing scenes were put back in, and they absolutely buggered the film up. Even some of the reintroduced scenes in Redux were edited out of Final Cut, but it was still a mess. Only the original will do.
