Have a look here Nigel, I use this:

For the real thing I use Sky Demon but it does not talk to any flight sim.
Even Dave approves of it!

Re: Speed Distance Time Calculator
Hi Nev, had a look and that appears to be a very good programme though flying in VR means although I can use my 2nd monitor for the map and can tap my Quest 2 to got room view, I am trying to improve my navigation for the time being without any third party source such as moving map and/or on-board FMC which light aircraft seem to have nowadays. Avitab also has the moving map which I have found useful for when flying large tub-liners but one problem with it is that you have to actually move the map to keep sights on your aircraft!!
Probably in a few weeks or months I will get tired of doing it the hard way and revert to something like you have shown me. Had a look at Sky Demon and that is really made for real pilots but guess that those using a sim such as MS2020, X-Plane or P3D could also use it but a bit costly just for computer flying!!
Regards
Nigel.

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

I just fly absolutely everywhere at 120kts. 2 miles a minute
Re: Speed Distance Time Calculator
A bit late to this discussion, but Aerosoft has a free flight calculator.

Scroll down to the 4th entry in the thread. There's a PDF manual there too.
