Old Girl In Transit

On FR24 DC3A N18121 seems to be in transit maybe back to US. Currently between Faroe Islands and Iceland. This morning it flew from Dole near Dijon to Wick. Not bad for an 84 year old aircraft. Anyone know where its final destination is? *-) EricT
Edit. Not visible just now, probably out of range of ADS detectors and was flying at Fl 100. May reappear as it approaches Iceland.

Probably Portland, Oregon, as that's where its registered to ( Aurora, Oregon)
IIRC, it got stuck in France after the Daks over Normandy event in 2019, needing some hangar TLC, then the covid happened and it was still stuck.

Ttfn

Many thanks for that info Pete. She has now re-appeared on FR24 near Iceland. I wish her and all onboard bon voyage :) EricT

Do you drive a Ford van? *-)
I presume the Dak may overnight in Iceland and continue tomorrow although I haven’t checked FR24 this evening.
Long may the DC3 continue flying. I just love them :agree: EricT
