I finally managed to download it after an epic struggle to re-open my steam account. So far, I've only been able to view the trains from the station/track-side. I can't find how to get into the cab.

Hi Kevin, usually when starting the sim it takes you on an instructional tour and training to drive the locos. All you have to do is when on the screen where you have an engine waiting press Esc and go back to the main menu where you should then be able to click on Explore which in turn gives you a few options. Click on Time Table (I think it is) then hopefully you can start a journey.

Nigel.

Thanks, Nigel.
I did manage to get as far as training, but it seemed a slow process to get there. I'll give your suggestion a go.

Cheers

On starting the sim, I've been getting the message 'api-ms-win-downlevel-kernel32-l2-1-0.dll is missing'. If I clicked 'OK' to this, then the sim usually started. However, I did a little research online and have fixed the error. Now on starting the sim, I get a much more immersive experience. I only wish that I could find a setting to disable the video that plays each time I start it up.

Hi Kevin, try hitting the Enter Key as the video starts or if not the Esc Key, one or the other should whiz you past the video and other annoying screens that come up.
