Great atmospheric screen shots Ben  Really miss flying the old birds such as the DH89, makes me want to re-install FSX but after changing sims I went back briefly to FSX and some-how the flying was definitely not as good, when running software such as XP Realistic flying VR in X-plane it gives all the vibrations in prop powered aircraft plus touchdown effects, headshake when landing and taking off on the runway and more!!

FSX sadly cannot compete with that any-more so it will continue to gather dust on one of my shelves. :((

Regards
Nigel.

That’s MSFS Nigel, not FSX. They’re just unedited screenshots

Sorry Ben, I already knew that but should have clarified it in my reply, FSX is the only other sim I have that could fly the DH 89, sorry for the confusion. :$

BTW, was it the poor vis that made you land in the field? :poke: :hide:

Nigel.

😂😂😂 that field is actually all that remains on thd original RAF Boulmer. That strip was one of the runways once upon a time.

Just downloaded and installed . I was going to just launch into EGNR by "Chocks Away" diner, for a quick look around, but couldn't resist a quick test flight.
Got her started eventually. Thought I would remember where the fuel cocks were, but had to refer to the manual
She seems a bit more "agile" than I can remember in fsx but I will create a control profile for the aircraft. She certainly noses over as easy as she did in fsx.
Looking forward to flying her in the VA again
Well done Dave and Thank you

Dave G, thanks for your time and effort with the Rapide. It's a model that's close to everyone's hearts here at CBFS. Once I get MSFS, it'll be the first add-on aircraft on the list. Very well done, thanks again.
