New 'Job'

Hello guys, just thought I'd let you know about my new job.
Can't quite believe it and still having to pinch myself after three weeks into it, but I am now working full time as a Flight Simulator Instructor!
The company is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and they have full-size 737-800 and A320 simulators available to the public.
In all honest, it was a ridiculously steep learning curve at the start, I thought I knew everything and quickly realised I was nowhere near close! But it's amazing how much you can learn when you're motivated and I feel incredibly lucky that I can finally turn my hobby into a career.
So if you're ever in the Newcastle area, get in touch and I'll see if I can get you mate's rates

Brilliant news mate!!!

I recall someone telling me there was a 737 simulator in Newcastle a while back, but if no idea there was a A320 too!

Are you up near the airport?

Well done, not many jobs like that, just hope FS doesn't become boring when there is no movement, as well as only having a spring loaded joystick!

That’s brilliant, well done. I bet that knowing there’s a 737 simulator almost on his doorstep has made Ben’s day! :agree: EricT

Excellent choice of career, great to hear that you now have a real simulator to enjoy.

Is it full motion or static?

Regards
Nigel.
