Is there any chance of fixing the "Type Ratings" page, which shows everybody with just an initial as a surname and all type ratings as having an 11 month warning.
If you click on "Show revoked" it shows all pilots surnames with their type ratings, last flight flown, but shows all ratings revoked.

P.S.thanks for all the website work :)
I've been looking through this tonight. It seems that at some point in time the users have been duplicated. I'm not sure when this happened; certainly years ago. As such there are two users for each user. the original one, and the newer one. The newer one has the format Firstname_Initial, probably so it didn't clash with / overwrite anything that already existed. We pull the information in the table from FSA, so it "may" have been something that happened at their end when they were restoring at one point.

The weird thing is below:-

Code: Select all

Ben Watson,Ben,Watson,435,CBF123,XR219,EGFF,Pilot,DB_156,kg,2017-07-16 22:42:00,0,488,397292
Above is my original FSA ID. Note the date in 2017 which was the last flight I'd made as Ben Watson. However, also note the current location EGFF... which is where I am currently in the Rapide!

Now this one, which is the more recent entry. It contains the current date, but the old location from my flight in 2017, at EGAC

Code: Select all

Ben W,Ben,W,435,CBF123,XR219,EGAC,Pilot,DB_156,kg,2020-10-03 08:13:00,0,488,397292
Also in another table in the database, the current type ratings are all attributed to the more recent username, all of the old one's to the original username.

Now, can I safely merge the data. I don't know, and I'd be loathed to do it in case it wiped out any historical info. But I'll look into it.
