Nice MSFS Duxford

Post by JohnWillimas »

Over at Flightsim.to there's a nice new EGSU for MSFS which comes in two versions, with or without crowds of watchers. Certainly worth checking out. https://flightsim.to/file/21755/duxford-airfield-egsu

Ideal accompaniment for Dave's Dragon Rapide in Classic Wings guise.....

It's a better version of the airport that I had previously installed. Yes will look well with Dave Dragon on the scene

Very nice indeed, and very welcome too. The grass needs mowing, and I don't like the different coloured grass runway, but other than that a lovely job done.

There's a few lod pop-up issues which kill it for me. :(
Think I'll stick to my old ACG version for now.

Not sure if this fixes Dave's problem (I haven't been experiencing it) but there's a new version up of Duxford at Flightim.to.

The developers restructured the downloads so there is now a basic Duxford and an air show add on with the crowds of people and extra cars in the car park etc. Apparently there will be further aircraft add ons to that coming too.

The horrible green on the grass runway has gone.

One of the posters on Flightsim. To site, has made this YouTube video of an air display at the airport. Its very clever. Don't know how he's made it. I struggle to control anything outside the cockpit. https://youtu.be/WdriA2RuiNo

A new version of Duxford is out with the Anglian Regiment memorial, all the buildings between the hangars and the Royston road, plus the Bailey bridge. It looks incredible.

Didn't know a BAe 146 is on display there now.

I'm drooling over what you chaps have written especially the Duxford Scenery but one thing does bother me and that is when it rains my internet connection goes down, maybe a few times for around 4-6 minutes. I think the problem lays with the fact that the internet comes down the phone and whilst the phone remains connected the internet does not.

So when that happens would I lose MS2020 completely until it comes back on-line?

Nigel.
