[FS2004] Vertical Fury

Post by fs10inator »

I think this might be one of my most personal favourite portrait screenshots of FS9 I've ever taken.

...and a landscape version for good measure, which, I think, would make a good desktop wallpaper.

TileProxy used in both screenshots.

It's amazing you can get that satellite imagery into FS9 nearly 20 years after it's release. I don't think any other sim will ever live up to the impact that FS9 has had on the community. Still have it on my hard drive for all these CBFS beauties. Great shot.

Thank you! It is... :D
I've been tinkering with various times and camera positions.

Couldn't agree more, and it's good that Bing Maps is still up and running, because the imagery helps make the shot for me!
Thank you very much. :)

I think I might as well explain my "secret" to the portrait shot...

FS9 could look really good at times but bloody awful at others.

I think some of my best shots were the ones I took for the virtual airline, most of which can still be seen in a lot of people's signatures here B-)
