Herald Janus Airways

Post by tonymadge »

Been a long time since I looked at the Herald and as a break from painting HJG jets I found the paintkit, added a bit to it and lifted the look of the engines and popped a paint scheme I had not seen done before. Amazing to think this is such an old model yet still looks nice, maybe I will re do the wing textures rather than just readjust levels in the layers in the paintkit. Anyway here are a few images of her leaving Guernsey on route to Plymouth and unashamedly in FS9 which has its quirks but still works a treat for me

Oh that does look rather nice. I'm still in fs9 too , simply because it works.

Love this Tony, she’s one of the reasons I cling on to FS9. Haven’t seen that repaint before either, lovely work 👍

A very nice repaint, Tony

Shouldn't have taken it off, you naughty boy! :hide:

How many updates did FS9 get?

The answer tells a story,

That looks great Tony. Nice to know that I’m not as much of an FS9 dinosaur as I thought! EricT

Thanks for the nice comments guys  Re FS9, well it can be a pain sometimes but like an old car its fixable, MSFS looks pretty but to do it justice a decent high end system would be best and with the prices being asked for PC gear I could not justify it, plus I love FS9
