Yep, it's a custom to give Buddhist monks food and something to drink there. It's supposed to be good for the soul on its progression to nirvana, or something like that. Looks like Tato knows he's not going to get anything. Great action shot, Brian.

Interesting custom. Thanks Paul! I've noticed that Tato and Fudge can sometimes be seen sitting in front of this shop. Maybe the Monk isn't the only one getting an occasional free meal.

Saw an odd sight on the street cam yesterday. A woman wearing lots of makeup, a sheer blouse, a very short skirt, and high heels. I thought that was a strange way to dress for a day at the beach.
