Rick's Viscount 700 Prop Disc/Fuselage

Post by iainp93 »

Eve all, hope all is well where you are.

Does anyone know the fix for Rick's Viscount 700 model where the prop disc disappears into the forward section of the fuselage when running? I'm assuming its some kind of texture incompatibility but I've tried every trick I know and have run out of ideas!

Looked back at the forum and this was asked many, many years ago but couldn't find the solution.

Cheers,

Iain

I’m not sure tbh. i didn't think there was a problem in FS9. did you maybe download the FSX tweaked version?

No, double checked and its the FS9 version from the library here - V700_FS9

Even tried FSX version textures in FS9 but still no joy. I definitely remember there was a fix for it knocking around. Ah well - maybe Rick might swing by with a solution. Still the best renditions of the Viscount for any simulator especially with Fraser's panels.

Thanks anyway Ben

Cheers

If you Google 'FS2004 download' there are several internet sites offering the full download as 'abandonware'! Not sure how legit they are but it is 19 year old software after all.
