Absolutely superb Paul, I’ve really enjoyed all of these posts and the history/ commentary.

Now, what are the plans for the journey back?

I’m thinking 146 or possibly the updated BN2 when it comes out.

Thanks, Ben.

Thanks, Brian

I'm going to carry on eastwards and make it a round-the-world trip. That'll mean heading up north to cross the Pacific via Japan, the Kuriles, Kamchatka, Aleutians and Alaska. Same aircraft too. I've got to get G-OPVK back to Mildenhall, as I told the bloke I was only borrowing it for a few days.

An excellent series, Paul

You made it to Melbourne, hope that the barbie was lit and there were a few 'cold ones' to welcome you.

Thanks, Kevin ...yes, as long as it wasn't Fosters. I'd have turned round and gone home otherwise.

Congratulations on finishing the trip. It's been fun and educational following your journey. Many thanks for taking the time to post all the pictures and information for each leg.

Thanks both.

I don't think I'll be documenting the return journey in quite so much detail. It'll be more like a few 'postcards' from the flights over the Philippines, some snaps from Japan etc.
