An equally suitable answer that fits with the current situation could be: "I filled my gas tank!"

"I filled my gas tank!"

Did that just before lunch after a 575 round trip to Wales. £88! The cashier actually apologised for the price, she said that it seemed so wrong to be charging so much when the oil companies are posting such huge annual profits.

It was made even worse by the cut in duty after I'd filled up.

Dark Humour as well Graham, stems from when I operated the cameras and witnessed incidents good and bad I'm afraid.
