Cheers Dale. I’m not sure why SimConnect isn’t working with FSA for me, when LittleNavMap is.
I did put FSUIPC7 on, but while its working with FSA, it has buggered things up a bit with the shortcut, so I’d rather get rid of it.

I’m enjoying my FSA flying atm, so just going to run with it until I pluck up the courage to try and fix it.

You can put it anywhere on the computer. When you start, you go to the flight planning screen and along the bottom on the left hand side you’ll see some options; esc to go back etc.

One of the options should be “more” which is space bar. From there you can select load plan from this PC and just navigate to your PLN file.

Thank you. Next stupid question. Why do I have to put a plane I downloaded in the Community file and not with the other planes in the Official section

Everything you buy or download goes in the community folder. Thats where MSFS stores addons… unless… they are default aircraft / sceneries etc that are part of the sim, OR uou’ve bought them in the in Sim marketplace.
Marketplace downloads (and currently the default aircraft etc) are all encrypted.

Apologies for butting in with a tangential question, but can weather files from other versions of Microsoft simulators be used in MSFS?

I suspect the answer is no, but I do know that FSX flightplans are usable.

Cheers,
Allan

Don’t think so. TBH I always use RW weather unless I’m testing in which case I use clear.

It's becoming a saga this. I have downloaded latest version of Dave's Rapide and I cannot get it to take off. 100mph on ground is interesting.
