A fine group of hardware, Paul
I should be more Brit-biased, but those Phantoms are mean looking machines :agree:

Brilliant shot Paul, where did you come across it? I’m looking on the phone at the moment so can’t zoom in enough, but given the types, that would look to be the Boscombe aircraft, although none are wearing the Raspberry Ripple. I’m thinking A&AEE or ETPS. It could be RAE Bedford but I don’t remember their Phantoms wearing plain grey.

Hi Ben, not sure where it came from - it was linked in Facebook.

I was just about to remark that my favourite aircraft was only part shown until I realised that all I had to do was slide the slider!!

Brilliant find Paul, that would really make a good picture to hang on the wall in my cockpit. BTW, I just hope somebody does a model of the Lightning
for MS2020, providing that it was an early version with short fuel range, now that would be challenging to fly, without looking it up I believe it was somewhere around the 45 minute mark.

Regards
Nigel.

Thanks for sharing this, Paul. Think I'll make a virtual jigsaw puzzle from it. :)

Yes, that'd make a very good jigsaw puzzle. :agree:

By the way, I heard a very good Americanism the other day, which I've adopted - when deriding someone's intelligence..."You're as thick as a whale omelette."

The Phantoms are from No. 56 Squadron, Ben and I'd hazard a guess that the Hunters are T7s belonging to Delta Jets.
