Another Question Regarding the JF 146

Post by Nigel H-J »

I have found that when I want to close the entrance doors along with the steps the don't, they may have been open for around 15 minutes and when I am nearly ready for pushback and start I pressed the close steps and door on the i-pad but don't close, remove chocks and a little while later they do close, finding this very frustrating.

Regards
Nigel.

Not something I've experienced Nigel. The steps need to be brought in before you close the doors. I think you also need hydraulic pressure (from memory) so you might need to make sure the APU is running and the the PTU is set etc.

Yep you need hydraulic pressure to raise the steps. Although you can lower them without
