Not the best start to the day

Post by Vc Ten »

Just downloaded world update 13 and then purchased the Atr for a tenner. All goes well, so starting to setup the controls and find out how the engines start, when screen goes off. Wow that's a good ctd! No, the whole pc had packed up. Tried to restart it but its dead as a dodo. I have a spare (I think) psu which I will try first. But at the moment it's not looking too good *-)

Hope it helps somewhat in pointing to the problem. BTW, did your plug blow a fuse!! :poke: :dunno:

Well the spare psu didn't exist :$ but I had an old desktop pc that I used for my accounts that I could canabalise, proving it was the psu had failed. Ordered a replacement, which came this morning. Installed it without too much drama and now back up and running. Thanks for the link anyway Nigel. Quite like this Atr. would have been useful if a manual had been included, but there's enough info out there now. Quick flight to Heathrow from Manchester, most things seem to work as they should. Can't knock it for the price. and I'm sure it will get the further attention the rivet counters demand. Trying to see how it can fit in our VA *-)
