Thats a good point Dale. I’ve no idea. I’ll check when I get home.
Hi Dale,

I can’t see a way to do it tbh (but not something I’ve tried before). I’m happy to knock up a ferry flight plan from both locations tomorrow evening and if you could add them in, that would be great. 👍

Hi Ben. When you click on Book flight in FSA, there should be a blue bar at the top of the page. " Book Charter flight. " Click here and it will take you to all bookable aircraft at your current location. (You may have to buy a ticket first, to be at the location you want to fly from) Click on the airframe you want to use, which will take you to "enter destination airport" Enter Icao code and you're done. You can add packages if you wish. The departure time is what it is when you book. What I read on FSA its available to all pilots, but no one seems to use it here, which made me think its a permissions thing
No problem if you want to send me ferry routes though

I double checked our permissions, for Flight Director and above you can book charter flights for aircraft in any fleet, for 'Pilot' you can book charter flights only in the "Modern Charter Fleet". Should we change this? Options:

- Add any fleet to pilot?
- Create a new 'Senior Pilot' rank that can charter aircraft in any fleet.
- Promote Ben (and possibly others) 'Flight Directors' which will also give them the ability to create routes?

Personally I lean toward the last option but what does everyone else think?

I don't see any problem with what you suggest Joe. Other than I'd be wary of letting all, access the routes database. Is there a senior pilot rank that pilots could be promoted to, that automatically gives charter to all fleets?
Perhaps if we get any new pilots (that's hoping) they serve time in the "pilot" rank first
Dale
Edit now I've read your post properly I think :-
A) Change so pilots can charter any fleet
B) I anyone fancies being promoted let them shout out. Be more than welcome.

Happy to do do the flight director or fleet manager or whatever its called. I’d not be keen on letting all and sundry charter aircraft tbh.

Hi Chaps,

I've put the routes in from South Africa and the US to bring them home. I'm going to pick up the 330 in SA, but there is a 330 and 360 in Roswell... It could take a while getting back from Upington :worried:

That's great Ben
I would be happy to ferry one back But it would have to wait until the models are released

Same here, I was looking to see if they were out yet last night but of course they are not.
