Let us know what you think Joe. I'm tempted if my old P3D aircraft will work. My worry is the JF installers for this like the Tristar and VC10 won't detect V6.

Hi Ben, out of interest which aircraft do you miss the most in MSFS?

Like others here I miss David's 1-11 and Trident. Most other aircraft I use have, or are in the process of of being brought to life in Msfs. Generally in a better order than could have ever been possible in fsx or p3d. I tried a 2 Sim installation when Msfs first came out, but suffered constant ctd whichever SIM I used. Once I pulled p3d off the drive, the crashes stopped. Won't be going back there. I just hope Msfs is continuously improved and the aircraft I miss are eventually developed.

Thats a big question.
The Trident is a big miss for me, but then it was missing in P3D too and I can’t see anyone doing one again.

I absolutely loved the Vanguard. Part nostalgia with in being so close to DB, also loving Frasers panel.

Then the Nimrod and VC10 in equal measure. The VC10 I loved doing long haul flights to exotic locations and wishing it was the late 60’s / Early 70’s. The Nimrod I used to use to find AI ships, I’d spend hours loitering around searching for AI ships.

How are you guys getting on with V6? Any issues installing older aircraft?

Download and install went without a hitch.

Usual first flight set to my favoured (Leeming) home base also went OK. First flight went well. Stock scenery has the UK well overstocked with trees but otherwise OK.

Last night I tried to be more adventurous and fly a C130. No image shown, tried all the c130s and the same result. Decided to check what else was badly ported over but got a CTD. :dunno:

Have tried the forum at LM but didn't see any similar probs. Will try a JF add later today and see what happens. Now RL is kicking in..

Got Orbx working by copying the add-ons folder in P3Dv5 (inside ProgramData) into P3Dv6.

Have JF's Chippie, PA28 and F3 Tornado working well.

The JF loader does not recognise V6 so you have to point it to the folder, then it is all automatic.

JF VC10 appears to be working well on it's first flight, but again the RW is calling..

To be continued.
