04-03-24 results.
Keith (Dev One) and PeteP both got it in one.

Mick (woody901) was so close on his first try, then nailed it on his amended identification.

Our subject was the Heinkel 118.

The Heinkel 70 preceded the 118, and had a different tailplane and nose, plus the wing leading edge in particular, differed. Though there were similarities, they were built from different materials and for quite different purposes.

A bit different this time.
On which aircraft would we find these engines?
There were 4 on the one which I photographed.

Brian (Bridon Bear), Eric (Tomliner), Keith (Dev One) and Ben (TSR2) all agreed that the engines were on a Lockheed Constellation.

Ben took his thoughts a little further, deducing that the aircraft's identity was VH-EAG "CONNIE" which is spot on.

Hi Ben,
Glad that you did.
We welcomed a large contingent this week.
Eric (Tomliner)was first in, followed by Mick (woody901), PeteP, Brian (Bridon Bear), Simon (simondix), Myles, DaveG, Keith (Dev One), Brian Franklin, AllanL, and Ben (TSR2)... Woooo!
Everyone got it right first time, so it's raining diamonds.
Our subject was the DHA3 Drover Mk3B, which had been restored by Schutt Aviation at Moorabbin, where the air show was held.
Several knew, or discovered, that its rego was VH-FDU, and yes, the FD was allocated to numerous Flying Doctor aircraft.

Apologies for the late posting, been a busy day.
25-03-24 results.
Brian (Bridon Bear) and Ben (TSR2) both got it first time Additionally, Brian immediately explained why it was a 336 (fixed undercarriage), and Ben said he was really enjoying the quiz, and asked if it was VH-GKY



Brian Franklin nominated a Skymaster, then honed that to a Cessna Skymaster 336.
Eric (Tomliner), Mick (woody901), PeteP, and Simon (simondix) all started with Cessna Skymaster 337.
Eric, Pete and Mick all submitted a second option of "make that a 336" or similar.
