Best wishes to Mrs A for a speedy recovery.
I am still looking in but have less free time as Mrs P tripped on 5th Nov breaking her left fibula so now wears a plaster cast for another few weeks, she has 2 appointments after Christmas to check on recovery & is not a happy bunny.

Sorry to hear that, Keith.
Full sympathy for Mrs P. and we hope she has a good recovery.

The physio says that Mrs A can't start any exercises until the New Year, and keep on with the pain relief.

PeteP, Brian (Bridon Bear), Brian Franklin,Simon (simondix), Ben (TSR2), Keith (Dev One), and AllanL all scored diamonds for naming the Hawker Tornado.
EDIT
See 16-12-24 results, I left Mick (woody901) off this list...SORRY Mick

While Eric (Tomliner) and Joe (blanston12) picked up gold.

The Typhoon and Tornado differed in their power plants. The Tornado used the RR Vulture, an "H" shaped engine, requiring two banks of exhausts either side. The Napier Sabre had only one bank of exhausts each side. The winners knew that, of course.

The Typhoon was apparently not 100% safe:

Now to the badges....

Firstly, apologies again to Mick (woody901) who scored diamonds for 09-12-24.
I have edited that post. I know it should not happen, but it does :stupid:

Now to 16-12-24:
