Britten Norman Islander BN2T

Post by blanston12 »

I see that BlackBox Simulations is coming out with a Islander BN2T, the turboprop version of the basic BN2.
Do we know if any airlines that have used the BN2T?
Is any one planning on getting it?
Should we see if we can get some in our fleet?

Hi Joe, yes, saw the email from them the other day. I think there may be a couple, but i'll check it out at the weekend and report back 👍

I got the email, and I like the look of it, but it's not enough to lure me away from the piston version, which I really enjoy. Maybe when Blackbox has a sale, I'll grab it.

I see its now available from the MSFS marketplace. Curiously they don't show any pictures of the interior there, which to me is odd as that is where the pilot (us) lives.

Just heard from Graham that he’s redoing his website and it will be back again in the next few days 👍

It seams reasonable to me that if we wanted to get some BN2T's we could just add it to the same routes we use for the standard BN2. That is if someone wanted to get it.

Personally the base BN2 is enough for me, unless the VC has gotten a major upgrade.
