Graham's Birthday today.
Miss you old mate.
He would have been 86.

He would have been having a few drams of his whisky to celebrate.

Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!
Re: Remembering Graham (Filonian)
I miss him too. One of the great characters of this forum.
Re: Remembering Graham (Filonian)
Absolutely lovely man with a tremendous kindness who went out of his way to help a great many people, especially with his work with veterans. I had the privilege of meeting him on a couple of occasions. Wherever you are Graham, peace be with you.
Ben.

I miss his terrible jokes. Worse than mine. Gave me a role model.

Will have a beer for you tonight Graham. A much missed character.
Re: Remembering Graham (Filonian)
He is very much missed by me as all of those who have left us. When I was young, I often said I can't wait for (an occasion) and my father always replied, don't rush the time away, life is too short!!
Now when I think of those whom I have known and they are no longer here, my father's words still come back to me. How right he was!!

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
